As you may be aware the government have introduced a Business Continuity to help businesses deal with the impact of COVID 19. The scheme differs slightly in application between IDA clients, Enterprise Ireland clients and other companies. In either case the supports can be used to employ HR Duo to assist with advice, reorganisation, redeployment etc to help prepare for the eventual return to trading. A brief overview is as follows:

 

Non-Enterprise Ireland Clients (Available through LEO)

The Government have introduced a support, the Business Continuity Voucher to help companies make decisions about what immediate measures and remedial actions should be taken, to protect staff and sales. The potential support measures that are covered under the scheme include measures that will help the business:

  • Implement remote working processes or procedures
  • Leverage HR expertise
  • Leverage ICT expertise

All three of the above items are core HR Duo services and we can therefore provide the assistance and consultancy required under the scheme.  Applications are made through your Local LEO office and we are happy to work with you on the (short) application form. Funds and time are limited so it is important to get started immediately. If your application is successful, we will be selected by your Local Enterprise Office to work with you on your business continuity plans. The value of this service is up to a maximum of €2,500.

Enterprise Ireland clients

The Government have introduced a support, the Lean Business Continuity Voucher to help companies make decisions about what immediate measures and remedial actions should be taken, to protect staff and sales. The support is available to businesses employing up to fifty (50) staff. The potential support measures that are covered under the scheme and applicable to HR Duo include measures that will help the business:

  • Building rapid deployment capability
  • Developing and deployment of safe working practices
  • Management of people through a crisis – communicating/Handling issues
  • Coaching/mentor support for Leaders and Staff on mitigation and reduction actions
  • Preparing for reduced cash flow and challenging logistics
  • Carrying out risk assessments for continuity
  • Developing rapid understanding of market requirements post crisis
  • Preparing for ramp up post crisis

All of the above items are core HR Duo services and we can therefore provide the assistance and consultancy required under the scheme.  Applications are made through Enterprise Ireland and your Development Advisor in the first instance. We are happy to work with you on the (short) application form. Funds and time are limited so it is important to get started immediately.
